North York Coin Club

    Fun, Fellowship and Learning

You will find that our club meetings have an open and casual atmosphere where fellowship and fun are our main priority.

Informtion About the North York Coin Club

The North York Coin Club [“NYCC”] is a not-for-profit educational and cultural organization, which was established in February, 1960.
We have met consistently, on a monthly basis, since that founding.

While the club promotes numismatics as a hobby and an educational pursuit, we have structured the club to be social as well as for hobbyists.

The club reserves positions in its structure for junior members and offers considerable encouragement to young collectors and are always welcoming Seniors and members of minority groups and newcomers to our Country.

NYCC is a member of provincial and national hobby associations including the Ontario Numismatic Association and the Royal Canadian Numismatic Association and has members who belong to a host of other collecting associations. We provide charitable contributions annually within the North York community and endeavour to be a responsible member of the community.

Over the years the club has included many giants of the hobby on its membership rolls, whose legacies can be found in educational and collecting publications.

Typically, there are about 30 to 40 people that attend our monthly meetings.
